Capital Campaign

Dear Friends of Huey’s Hideaway Children’s Museum,

WE NEED YOUR HELP!

We are very fortunate to own our building and the great space that children are able to explore and learn.  However, it takes a great deal of maintenance to proactively address the needs the building will have as it naturally ages. Currently, we are in desperate need of a new roof. Our roof is very old and no longer protecting the building.  Unfortunately, we have been experiencing some leaking this year and there is no more time to delay; we must replace it!

In 2023 we launched a Capital Campaign to help with our building repairs and maintenance, and to be proactive on planning for expenditures, whether planned or unexpected.  We are so thankful for the support we received in the past 10 months and it’s such a great feeling to watch our fundraising thermometer grow!  To date, we have not reached our goal. There’s still time to finish what we started and reach the top or even overflow our thermometer!

Community Fundraising Goal

Our Capital Campaign goal is $20,000. This amount will help complete the new roof that is needed for our building.

The campaign is well underway and we have already secured $15,020 toward our overall goal of $20,000.  We would appreciate your help to continue building upon this momentum.

Here’s how you can help!

Please consider a donation to help us finish up our Capital Campaign and fix the roof of Huey’s Hideaway Children’s Museum! We thank you for your time and consideration.

Your tax-deductible donations provide the building blocks for a strong community and are an investment in our future.  Help support the children of our community by donating to our Capital Campaign today!

With sincere appreciation,

Monica Halopka
