LEGO DESIGN CONTEST

1. Contest open to youth age 5-12 years old as of January 1, 2020

2. Limit 1 entry per contestant

3. You must supply all of your own Lego materials. Additional materials are allowed upon request.

4. The finished product must be no larger than 15”x11”x9” when scaled but does not need to be perfect to scale.

5. You may make design plans/instructions or take photos of your creation at home and use them while construction during the contest.

6. Plans may be adapted from kits but must be exhibitor’s original interpretation.

7. Judging will be on appearance, creativity, and degree of difficulty for age.

8. The design must reflect a theme that fits the current synergy and aesthetic of the lower level at the museum. Some suggestions include but are not limited to: A Vet Clinic, Trading Post, Framed home. Think about how all the spaces can connect in play.

9. Submissions must be photographed and send to director@hueyshideaway.org by May 1st with the Heading “Logo Contest” with the submitter’s Name and Contact information along with a drawing and explanation of their design.

10. The winner will be announced on May 7th.

11. The winner will win a 14 Week spot at this year's summer camp and a chance to have their design constructed.
