Come and explore and learn with a lesson/snack/craft/story built around nature and the outdoors.

What is Nature Rangers?

A group that gathers Friday mornings, throughout July & August, from 10am-11am to learn and explore things that deal with nature.

What will we learn about at Nature Rangers?

Throughout eight weeks we are going to learn about; nature, insects, birds, trees, animals.

What other types of things will we do during this hour period?

We will be sharing a snack, reading a story, and preparing a craft or small project.

What should I bring to Nature Rangers club?

We may or may not, depending on weather, be going outside during this period of time so a jacket or sweatshirt if you feel it is necessary. We may get dirty while we are exploring or doing our craft so wear appropriate clothing. Bring your imagination and your listening ears!

Come and grow a garden with us and learn through tending plants/crafts/snacks/stories built around farm-fresh food.


What is Green Handed Gardeners?

A group that gathers Thursday mornings throughout July and August, 10am-11am, to learn and explore how to grow and tend to things that grow.


What will we Learn about at Green Handed Gardeners?

Throughout eight weeks we will learn about how plants grow, plant parts, planting, weeding, and harvesting of our gardens here at the Children’s Museum.


What other types of things will we do during this hour period?

Our time together will usually include: a lesson, crafts, snack and story.


What should I bring to Green Handed Gardeners?

During our time together we'll be exploring plants and outdoors with our hands and feet. Please wear appropriate clothing that can get dirty. Dress appropriately for the weather and bring your listening ears and imaginations!
